This video has been extracted from one of Rope Rigging Academy (Australia) training programs. The video presents two rules of thumb for achieving balanced load onto two anchor points. The video also reveals some of the misconceptions relating to balancing load between two anchors points.

  1. This is an AMAZING video. Obviously helpful when building our webbing anchors, but mandatory info for anyone building guided rappels and slack lines. Also had no idea that anchors constructed under 30° impact the weight distribution between anchor points so dramatically when the load shifts.
