  1. When we ask everyone in our group to tie back their hair and tuck in loose clothing before they rappel we are taking a step toward reducing the likelihood of them getting stuck on the rope. When we rig with a releasable contingency, we are taking a step toward reducing the consequences if they do get stuck on the rope.
