Excellent explanation of using STRADS acronym for evaluating anchors. Solid pieces, Timely, Redundant, Angle, Distribution, Shock load. Also addresses pros and cons of various anchor rigging, including: Focused, equalized with Magic X and SWAMP.
I loved the last 2 systems. The SWAMP and the Equalette. The swamp is super simple and the Equalette gives some good redundancy and equalization. As well as another convenient tie in point. I’m not sure why he uses an 8 knot verses an overhand for his limiter knots.
