Supporting Adventure Worldwide: How You Can Help Deliver Canyoneering Gear to People in Need

Embarking on a mission to supply canyoneering shoes to guides in the Philippines, we collaborated with Vlad Steklac in Moalboal Cebu to facilitate the distribution. Through his recommendation, we discovered LBC Express, a specialized shipping service with an office conveniently located in Las Vegas. Offering a flat rate of $100 for shipping by boat, LBC Express proved to be a cost-effective solution, especially in comparison to other quotes that exceeded $500. While the journey by sea may take 45-60 days, the significant savings made it a worthwhile choice.

Securing donated gear from generous companies and individuals is just the first step; the real challenge lies in covering the costs of inbound and outbound shipping when dealing with international donations and recipients. Requests for gear are pouring in from various countries like India, Kenya, Colombia, and Mexico, highlighting the pressing need for assistance.

As volunteers conducting training sessions abroad, we carry essential gear along with donated supplies to fulfill our mission. From driving truckloads of canyoneering shoes across borders to relying on chance encounters with travelers heading to areas in need, we have explored various means to deliver much-needed equipment.

The demand for gear is constant, and we humbly seek your support through donations to fund shipping expenses. Your contribution will make a tangible difference in bridging the gap and empowering adventure seekers worldwide.
