Event Navigation

**Skills practice session facilitated by Rich Carlson. Free to all Canyoneering Karma Passport holders.**
You may attend either day or both days.
Learn more about the Canyoneering Karma Passport **[HERE](https://canyonsandcrags.com/canyoneering-karma/)** We use the Passport as a fundraiser for our service projects. I offer occasional workshops and practice sessions to say thank you to our supporters.
We will not have a specific agenda. Skills to be practiced will be determined by participants. Topics can include any item from the [CGI Competency Checklist](https://canyonsandcrags.com/pdf/competencies-checklist.pdf) – anchors, rigging, techniques on rope, rescue.
**PLEASE NOTE**
A practice session is different than a course. You should already be trained and come with a desire to hone skills that you already possess. It’s ok if those skills have gotten a bit rusty over time. This will definitely not be a beginners course.
You will need to bring your own rope and gear. Both days will be outside. Dress appropriately for anticipated weather; layering always recommended. Wear closed toe shoes. Bring comfort items such as sunglasses, hat, sunscreen. Water, snacks, lunch.
We will be practicing at height. You are solely responsible for your own safety and will be required to execute an [Assumption of Risk Form](https://canyonsandcrags.com/pdf/risk-release-2023.pdf).
In case of inclement weather, this event may be canceled (at the sole discretion of the facilitator).
